Graduation on Carpentry and Masonry

The Integrated Mindanaons Association for Natives in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) held its Closing Ceremony of the 10 day training course titled “Basic Skills in Carpentry and Masonry” in University of Southern Mindanao Hostel, Kabacan North Cotabato on April 10, 2015. In this course, students from different areas of North Cotabato and Maguindanao completed their Training course.
This course was designed to improve the basic skills of the participants and be familiar with the different carpentry and masonry tools. The speaker during the session of the training course emphasized the knowledge and skills as the key to build a better future.

Executive Director of IMAN, Dr. Mike P. Alon welcomed guests and students of the course. He said that this training course is designed to help those carpenters improved and certify their skills. Our objective is to provide them with the necessary information and training they need to improve their self. He expressed the hope that this course will fruitful to help enhance the capabilities of the participants and they will contribute more effectively for building a better future, he added.

Sir Bobby Mangelen, TESDA Director was the guest speaker of the occasion. Chief Guest said in his speech that he is very happy to see the participants very much willing to hold such informative course of TESDA. He said that outside world is excelling because of training courses and refreshing knowledge through such trainings. He also presented the different TESDA opportunities such as National Certificate and its benefits. He also highlights the importance of this   training as integral part of service which not only improves knowledge but also enhances their working capabilities. He also appreciated the initiative of Integrated Mindanaons Association for Natives for providing people with this opportunity.
